With a clear focus on customer satisfaction we offer our clients a reliable and quality clash detection and model coordination services. With our clash detection experts, we reduce the amount of change orders during construction through our risk free model coordination while initiating clash checks.

We provide a Coordination Summary reports or CSR after performing the clash tests. We use Autodesk Navisworks platform for clash checks.

The Coordination Summary involves all the Clashes incurred, Exact location of the Clash and a possible Solution for the clash. With the generated reports, we work closely with Architects, Structural Engineers and MEP contractors for clash resolutions.

With our Clash Detection & Model Coordination Services, we help our clients improve project planning and avoid budget overruns by reducing rework and material wastage during site execution.

What we Do

  • Clash Matrix

The coordination matrix will describe the priorities for the coordination of elements. It will include the phase in which they need to be coordinated within or by.

  • Clash Detection

Determine all the possible clashes in the project using tools like Autodesk Navisworks.

  • Coordinate Clash Resolution

Assign Clashes to responsible disciplines and manage the resolution process.

  • Manage Project Risk

This has to be done through the project data and analytics displayed on a dashboards and easy to understand charts.

Our Clash Detection & Coordination Process

Our clash detection services involves a 6 stage process starting with the preparation of the NWC Files from all the stakeholders involved in the project. i.e.; the NWC files from Architects, Structural Engineers and MEP Engineers are collected by our BIM Coordinator.

Clash Tests Templates are developed based on a Clash Matrix prior to the start of the process. The Clash Matrix defines the number Clash Tests, Clash Types (Hard or Clearance Clash Test), Clash Scenarios (First Order, Second Order & Third Order) etc.

A Clash Detection Workshop is conducted and Clash Tests are run based on the Clash Test Templates developed. Individual Clashes are identified and shall be categorized as New/ Active, Reviewed, Approved and Resolved.

Clash Reports are generated at the end of the process and is distributed among the project stakeholders to start with the clash resolution process.

Our clash detection process is shown below:

Model Federation

Create a Federated Model from the Architecture, Structure, MEP and Infrastructure 3D models

Clash Matrix Development

Develop a Clash matrix in conjunction with all the role players.

Clash Detection

Perform clash tests are based on the agreed clash matrix and the tolerance requirements.

Generate Clash Reports and Views

Generate clash reports in pdf or html format based on the project requirements. These clash reports serves as a basis for the clash resolution process.

Clash Resolution & Coordination

Clash Resolution starts with the hosting of a coordination meeting, where clashes are discussed based on the respective priorities. Usually first order clashes (E.g. Main Duct Vs Structural Column) are addressed first and subsequently clashes with less priorities are addressed on the later stage. The identified solution during the coordination meetings are documented for later reference and model updates.

Model Updates

The Federated model is updated based on the agreed solution during the coordination meeting and the cycle continues for the next clash detection.
